This week, we have been celebrating Anti-Bullying Week 2019. Lots of different activities have been taking place across the school to promote anti-bullying, and to remind pupils that Brandhall is a friendship only zone!
Years 4, 5 and 6 got a taste of the future and took part in some workshops using virtual reality headsets. They used the new technology to explore different examples of bullying and how to avoid or solve them. The workshops led to loads of interesting conversations about friendship and responsibility.
In Reception, the children made friendship tokens for their friends. They also talked about how to be a good friend regardless of their differences. In Flexi Nursery, the children read books about being a good friend and how it is good to be different.
Years 1,2 and 3 designed anti-bullying wristbands. The winning slogan will be printed on a wristband which will be given out to all pupils.
