Stay and Play!

From Tuesday 6th November, Brandhall Tots will be holding weekly stay and play sessions for 1-3 year old children and their parents. Macmillan Morning Success

We would like to thank everybody that helped out in making our Macmillan coffee morning a complete success. The cakes that were donated were beautiful and we ended up raffling two great cakes. Tots and Nursery places available for January 2019!

We have places available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds in Brandhall Tots and Nursery from January 2019. There are many funding or financial support options that parents may be eligible for and eligibility can be checked by visiting www.gov.uk/childcare-calculator. ‘Time for Twos’ applications can also be made via the school office. Harvest Begins!

Rachel Heathfield came in to speak to the children about Harvest. Our Focus this year is on the amount of food we waste every day. Rachel talked to the children about finishing meals and moderating our portions to cut down the amount we throw away. School Photos

Our school photographer will be here on the 25th October 2018 to take your child’s picture. Nursery children that do not attend on a Thursday, can come to the Main School Hall at 8:30am, along with any siblings who also attend Brandhall Primary, to have their photo taken.


Harvest Challenge

Rev. Rachel Heathfield set Brandhall Primary pupils a special harvest challenge. To collect a bumper donation of food for those less fortunate than ourselves. Each class will present a basket donation to the local food bank. The biggest, heaviest class basket will be rewarded a fantastic prize.


Macmillan Coffee Morning

Please join us over in the Community room (Greenacres) on Friday 28th to help us hold Brandhall’s largest coffee morning ever! Tea and coffee with delicious cakes will be served from 09:15 am and continue until the last cake is eaten. We hope you will join us and help us raise money for a great cause.


MP John Spellar Visits Brandhall!

Roald Dahl Sponsored Read

In honour of Roald Dahl Day, the children took part in a sponsored read. They all did very well and we raised a massive £180 for our school library! A big thank you to parents for your support.


Parent Class Room Workshops

Today we hosted our first full school parent classroom workshop. This was a successful morning with parents experiencing a morning in the life of their child’s teaching.
