Update February 2021
Hi Year 5!
We hope that you are becoming more familiar with home learning. We are amazed at how well you are all doing and we are enjoying still being able to see your fantastic work.
For now, we will continue sending out lessons and the corresponding work daily (Monday to Friday) via email and expect them to be completed on the set day at home. Each week, we will send you a timetable, so you know what we are covering, this will reflect what we would have been doing in school anyway. (Remember, we have already had a trial at this in September, and learnt lots which we discussed in school – e.g. how to submit work, logins and technical advice.)
The work that we send will come with a pre-recorded clip from one of your teachers, teaching what we would have taught in class. This can be paused to complete activities, re-played or paused every now and then, so that you can work alongside it. Don’t worry about what we’re doing in school – we’re doing the same thing. No-one is missing out!
We aim to email out the work for the next day before 3:30pm the day before. e.g. Tuesday’s work will be sent on Monday before 3:30pm so it can be checked that it works and is ready to go for the following morning. All resources and links needed for that day will be attached to the email, linked to a OneDrive folder, if needed, for you to access!
If you have any questions, let us know!
