Punctuality
Is REALLY important. Please make sure that your child arrives at school ON TIME.
In the interest of safety no child will be allowed to leave school during the school day unless collected by a parent or their representative. Please inform Reception staff if you are collecting your children during the day
School Meals
School meals are available at a cost of £1.28 per day. This is payable on the FIRST day of the week. Make sure you collect a claim form if you think your child is entitled to FREE school meals. (Available at the office.)
Children may bring sandwiches if they wish. Please do not send sweets, fizzy drinks or glass containers into school.
All children who remain in school at lunch time are expected to behave in a polite and sensible manner at all times under the supervision of the lunch time supervisory assistants.
School Milk
Milk is provided free of charge to children under five. A termly charge is made for children over this age. Payment and orders must be made by the date indicated in the letter sent out towards the end of term.
Valuables and Jewellery
Children should NOT bring valuables into school. The school cannot accept responsibility. In the interests of safety jewellery must not be worn to school. Children may wear stud type earrings at the parents own risk.
Snacks
School operates a healthy eating policy. All children in Key Stage 1 receive FREE fruit at break time, different fruit being offered each day of the week. Children may purchase drinks and toast at the shop before 8:55 a.m. Water is available for children to drink during the day.
