Brandhall Primary School

Keeping Safe at Brandhall Primary School!

The most important thing to all of us at Brandhall is that pupils are safe and happy. That's why we are always trying to keep our children informed in the different ways to keep safe. As you can see from the following information - we do it in as many different ways as we can ...

County Lines Assembly

Last week, Year 5 and Year 6 had a visit from Ria Ware from West Midlands Police, who gave a presentation about the worrying trend of County Lines. All children were very mature when listening to some serious topics. We are very proud of them.

E-Safety Workshops

We are always happy to welcome our local PCSOs Alison and Tina into school. This time, they delivered some E-Safety workshops to all of Key Stage 2, with an emphasis on the dangers of social media.

NSPCC Sessions
Ant and Dec and the NSPCC mascot, Buddy, made an appearance on the whiteboards in classes as part of the interactive sessions that we were sent by the NSPCC. The theme of these lessons, that encouraged children to learn how to keep themselves safe and who to speak to if they ever feel unsafe, was Speak Out, Stay Safe!

Anti-Bullying Wristbands

As you will have probably seen, our anti-bullying wristbands arrived. They feature our slogan, Be a Buddy, Not a Bully, which was voted for by the children. Every pupil in school has been given one, so encourage your child to wear their wristband with pride!
